Ukulele Private Lessons, In-Person – 6yrs old by Dec 31, 2024 – 30min

In these private recorder lessons, your child will learn the fundamental  musicianship skills including using rhythm studies and music notation. They will also learn the basics of recorder technique including proper playing position, fingering, sound production and articulation. Children will be engaged in playing a wide repertoire of contemporary and classic music.

No experience required. We will be working from a method book, the price of which is not included in your fee.  Students must supply their own recorder (instruments must meet a minimum playability standard as assessed by the teacher- for a recommended list of instruments to purchase please contact [email protected] ).

Daily practice is required for this class.

For children ages 6 and up. Children must be 6 years old by Dec 31, 2024.
