Ukulele Private Lessons – 6yrs old by Dec 31, 2024 – 30min

In these private ukulele lessons, your child will learn the basics of ukulele including picking and strumming technique as well as reading music notation and tablature. Children will be engaged in strumming, picking and singing a wide repertoire of contemporary and classic music.

Learn in the tradition of the Hawaiian Masters. No experience required. We will be working from a method book, the price of which is not included in your fee.  Students must supply their own ukulele (instruments must meet a minimum playability standard as assessed by the teacher- for a recommended list of instruments to purchase please contact [email protected] ).

Daily practice is required for this class.

For children ages 6 and up. Children must be 6 years old by Dec 31, 2024.

2025 Winter Term Classes

Saturdays, Mondays and Tuesdays by appointment, Jan 11th – Mar 11th (no classes Feb 15th or 17th) 2025 with Justin at Canyon Heights Montessori Preschool (Sat/Mon/Canyon Heights) or St. Catherine’s Church (Tues/Edgemont Village)
